An update to this post: This “guess” contest was canceled. The plan was to hang the top on one side of the tent at the show. As it turned out though there was not enough room on the sides to allow room for a person to move around and count due to the proximity of the booths on either side of us. A few were interested, but we were only able to display the quilt top on the table which didn’t make it possible to examine it and count everything and make a good guess. Apologies, but we’ll try again another time.
