At Taste of Hollywood

He’s an up and coming movie set director. He designs, builds and manages the production of movie sets from Hollywood to our “Hollywood of the South”. Busy, it was exciting to be selected to finish his personal UFO (unfinished quilt object). Thanks Hunter for choosing us for your project.

Once done, with Kyli as our tare, this one weighed it at 14.3 lbs. Compare to a store “weighted blanket” at 15 lbs. If you like weight on you when you sleep, we can do that.
Dora, our resident, home decor expert sizing up his shirts for another one of his projects — a headboard. In addition to quilts we can do other big sewing as well.
The patch to be added is from a Netflix movie he’s working on. It’s a really nice bag for tools, etc. It’s made out of a heavy waxed canvas.
He liked the look of a brick outline for the quilting. Open not dense, simple with minimal detail. .
Quilting makes it a quilt ! Starting on the front, the quilting goes through all layers.
It’s a double-sided quilt. The front is his collection of shirts from his travels and working on movies.
