From Stitches to Stethoscopes: Rachel’s Journey as a Sewing Savant and Aspiring Pediatrician

Spotlight on Rachel, a pre-med student at Auburn with a flair for sewing! 🧵🎓 Rachel crafted her quilt top, showcasing her diverse skills. We were thrilled to assist in finishing it with her chosen cross-hatch pattern, digitally set and stitched with her favorite gray thread. Beyond the quilt, Rachel’s summer is filled with enriching experiences from being a camp counselor at Camp Highland to gaining medical insights at Grady Hospital. She’s aiming for a career in pediatrics, driven by her passion for helping children. Her journey into sewing began with self-taught classes at Joann Fabrics, creating everything from pillowcases to school outfits. Well done, Rachel! War Eagle!
