A basketball player and fan

A basketball player and fan brought us his cherished collection of jerseys to make into a quilt. The quilting all over is basketballs and the back is soft gunmetal minky. It’s a big one at 102 x 101” and 11.1 lbs! A lot of the jerseys are mesh, made out of that fabric that has the small holes. As a real quilt has at least 3 layers, we took precautions to make sure that the middle layer—batting—doesn’t poke through the holes as it’s used. This makes for a more durable finish ! Your quilt will last a long time!
